SIRIUS S00 power contactor with 24 V DC coil
Coil is 24 V DC, pulling 1.4 W to close and the same 1.4 W to hold, so the control transformer doesn't need to be oversized for inrush. Main contacts are spring-loaded terminals, accepting 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x AWG 24 to 14. That's a field-serviceable connection — no torque driver needed, just a screwdriver to push the cage open. Rated for AC-2 at 400 V at 3 kW and AC-4 at 400 V at 6.5 A. AC-12 maximum operating current is 10 A. The 24 V DC coil switches loads up to 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and powers 3.5 kW at 500 V and 4 kW at 690 V. That covers motor switching across European standard voltages and some North American 480 V applications.
The S00 frame is 45 mm wide, 60 mm tall, 73 mm deep — that's a 3-module wide footprint on the DIN rail. IP20 on the front and on the terminals, so it's a panel-interior part, not a washdown unit. Short-circuit coordination is specified: type 2 coordination requires a gL/gG fuse rated 20 A; type 1 requires 35 A. That's a long-life part for frequent cycling applications like conveyors or packaging lines.
