Rated operational currents and load types
Rated for AC-2 duty at 400 V delivering 4 kW, and AC-4 at 400 V handling 8.5 A — the AC-4 figure is the one that matters for reversing or inching applications where the contactor makes and breaks under load. At 500 V it's rated for 4.5 kW, at 690 V for 5.5 kW. For resistive loads (AC-12) the maximum operating current is 10 A. Coil operates on 50/60 Hz with a voltage tolerance of 0.8 to 1.1 times rated at 50 Hz and 0.85 to 1.1 at 60 Hz.
Coordination and wiring
For type 1 coordination (contactor may need replacement after a fault) it's gL/gG 35 A. Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x 0.5 to 1.5 mm² solid, 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm² stranded, or max 2x 0.75 to 4 mm². AWG equivalents are 2x 20-16, 2x 18-14, and 1x 12.
