SIRIUS size S00 power contactor — 24 VDC coil, 10 A rated
The Siemens 3RT1016-1AN61 is a SIRIUS-brand power contactor in the compact size S00 frame, designed for switching motor loads and resistive loads in control panels. It mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, fitting a 45 mm wide footprint. Rated operational current is 10 A at 24 V, with a motor rating of 4.5 kW at 500 V and 5.5 kW at 690 V. The coil draws at 24 VDC, and the contactor handles AC-2 duty at 400 V up to 4 kW and AC-4 at 400 V up to 8.5 A. Mechanical endurance is rated at 30 million operating cycles, and the operating temperature range spans -25 to +60 °C. The front terminals are IP20 rated, and the device is suitable for pollution degree 3 environments.
Mounting and wiring
The 3RT1016-1AN61 uses screw-type terminals for the main current circuit, accepting solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). AWG equivalents are 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), and 1x 12. Side-by-side mounting is permitted with a 6 mm clearance to adjacent devices.
