Rated for motor switching at 4.5 kW on a 500 V 50 Hz supply and 5.5 kW at 690 V, this contactor handles typical three-phase induction motors up to that power band — think small conveyors, pumps, or fan drives. The AC-2 rating at 400 V gives 4 kW, which is the duty for slip-ring motors; the AC-4 rating at 400 V is 8.5 A, covering reversing or inching applications where the contactor makes and breaks under load. For DC switching, the 24 V coil draws 10 A, dropping to 2 A at 60 V and 0.3 A at 220 V — useful for braking or DC injection circuits.
Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or up to 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²) solid or stranded copper — the range covers most control panel wiring from signal-level to motor feeder.
