It carries a 24 VDC coil and is rated for 10 A operating current at AC-12 (resistive) duty, with motor-switching capability across AC-2 and AC-4 categories — 4 kW at AC-2 / 400 V, and 8.5 A at AC-4 / 400 V for reversing or plugging duty.
Side-by-side mounting is permitted — no derating gap needed between units. The S00 footprint (45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, 114 mm deep) fits tight sub-panel layouts typical of smaller motor control centers.
Wiring and terminal capacity
Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²) solid or stranded conductors. AWG equivalents: 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), or 1x 12. The IP20 finger-safe terminal covers protect against accidental contact during panel wiring.
Coil operates at 24 VDC with a pickup range of 0.8 to 1.1 x rated voltage at 50 Hz (0.85 to 1.1 at 60 Hz). Type 2 coordination requires 20 A. This matters when specifying upstream protection for a motor branch circuit — Type 2 keeps the contactor reusable after a fault.
Environmental limits
The front face is rated IP20, so the contactor itself is not washdown-rated — it relies on the panel enclosure for environmental sealing.
