It snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022 or screws directly to a backplate — the 45 mm width and 57.5 mm height leave room for adjacent devices in a crowded enclosure. Rated for AC-1 resistive loads up to 10 A and AC-3 motor switching at 400 V to 4 kW, it handles the common 0.37–4 kW motor range found on small conveyors, pumps, and fans. The 24 VDC coil pulls 3.3 W on pickup and holds at the same 3.3 W — no inrush spike to stress a PLC output or DC supply. Pickup threshold is 0.85x rated (20.4 V) and dropout at 1.1x (26.4 V), so it stays pulled in during a sag down to about 20 V and drops cleanly on a controlled shutdown.
Mounting and wiring — what fits
Screw terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), or up to 2x (0.75–4 mm²) — solid or stranded. AWG equivalents are 2x (20–16), 2x (18–14), and 1x 12. That covers the typical control-wiring range for a size S00 contactor without needing ring lugs or ferrules. Side-by-side mounting is allowed with zero clearance between units — 6 mm spacing to adjacent metal parts is the only air gap required. Pollution degree 3.
Type 1 coordination requires a 35 A gL/gG fuse; Type 2 coordination takes a 20 A gL/gG fuse. The 30 million mechanical cycles typical life means this contactor outlasts most machinery refreshes in light-duty cycling.
Switching capability across voltages
The auxiliary contact set is 2 NO (instantaneous). Rated operational currents vary by voltage and duty: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V for DC control circuits; 6 A at 230 V and 3 A at 400 V for AC loads. Motor power ratings: 4.5 kW at 500 V and 5.5 kW at 690 V in AC-3 duty.
