SIRIUS S00 power contactor — 3RT1016-1GX21-0AA2
The Siemens 3RT1016-1GX21-0AA2 is a SIRIUS Size S00 power contactor with screw-type terminals, designed for switching motor loads in control panels up to 4 kW at 400 V in AC-2 duty or 8.5 A in AC-4 duty. It carries a single normally-open instantaneous auxiliary contact rated at 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V, covering typical PLC and relay interface levels.
Mounting and integration — 45 mm DIN-rail footprint
The 45 mm wide, 115 mm tall, 72 mm deep housing mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022, fitting standard panel layouts without special adapters. Side-by-side mounting is permitted with 6 mm clearance at the side, and the IP20 finger-safe terminals (front and terminal) allow safe access in live panels. Screw terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²) solid or stranded conductors, with AWG equivalents 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), or 1x 12.
