Rated for 5.5 kW at 690 V and 4.5 kW at 500 V, this contactor handles three-phase motors up to those power levels. AC-2 at 400 V is 4 kW, for slip-ring motor starting. Mechanical life is typical 30,000,000 operations. Pollution degree 3.
For type 1 coordination (contactor may need replacement after a fault), the fuse can go up to 35 A. This is the standard protection scheme for S00 contactors driving motor loads. The coil itself pulls 0.8 to 1.1 A at 50 Hz, and 0.85 to 1.1 A at 60 Hz, depending on the control voltage.
The contactor is 45 mm wide, 60 mm tall, and 73 mm deep — a compact S00 footprint that fits standard 45 mm spacing on the DIN rail. Side-by-side mounting is allowed, with a 6 mm clearance to the side for heat dissipation. The front is IP20, so finger-safe for panel wiring. Main circuit terminals accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire, or 2x (24 to 14 AWG). Spring-loaded means strip and push — no torque spec to check.
