Terminals and wiring
The 3RT1016-2AH01: Spring-loaded terminals on the main current circuit accept 2x (0.25...2.5 mm²) solid or stranded copper, or 2x (24...14 AWG). That's the same cage-clamp style you'd find on a PLC I/O card — no screwdriver torque check, no retightening on a vibration-prone panel door. Strip length is the usual 8–10 mm for spring terminals; the IP20 finger-safe front means you can land wires live if the panel procedure allows.
Coil and switching ratings
Coil pickup voltage range is 0.8...1.1 at 50 Hz and 0.85...1.1 at 60 Hz.
Protection and coordination
That's the standard trade-off: tighter fuse protects the contactor, looser fuse protects the circuit.
