Both main and auxiliary/control circuits use spring-loaded terminals, accepting 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x (24 to 14 AWG). No screw torque to check — just strip to 8 mm and push in.
Coil and control
Coil draws 3.3 W DC both closing and holding — no power drop-off after pickup, so the control transformer or DC supply needs to sustain that continuously. Pickup threshold is 0.85 x rated voltage (93.5 V DC), dropout at 0.1 x rated (11 V DC).
Load switching and protection
Rated operational current at AC-12 (resistive) is 10 A maximum. For motor loads, AC-2 at 400 V gives 4 kW; AC-4 at 400 V gives 8.5 A. At 500 V it handles 4.5 kW, at 690 V it handles 5.5 kW — those are the motor ratings for a standard squirrel-cage induction motor. For short-circuit protection, type 2 coordination requires a gL/gG fuse rated 20 A; type 1 coordination allows 35 A.
RoHS compliance date is 01.07.2006.
