What this SIRIUS S00 contactor is
The Siemens 3RT1016-2DB44-ZW95 is a SIRIUS power contactor in the S00 frame size — the smallest footprint in the SIRIUS family, sized for light motor and resistive loads in control panels. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, with screw or snap-on fixing, and uses spring-loaded terminals on the main current circuit. The 24 VDC coil draws 3.3 W for both closing and holding, so there's no inrush spike to size a separate power supply around.
Mounting and wiring
The contactor occupies 45 mm width on the DIN rail, with a depth of 114 mm and height of 60 mm. Side-by-side mounting is allowed, with a 6 mm gap at the side for airflow. The spring-loaded terminals accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire, or 2x (24 to 14 AWG). IP20 protection on the front and terminals means it's safe for finger contact inside an enclosed panel but not for washdown environments.
