SIRIUS Power Contactor, S00 Frame — Spring-Loaded Termination
Rated for AC-2 duty at 400 V delivering 4 kW, and AC-4 at 400 V rated at 8.5 A. Motor power ratings reach 4.5 kW at 500 V and 5.5 kW at 690 V. The contactor carries a mechanical life of 30,000,000 operating cycles typical. The built-in surge suppressor uses RC elements, and the unit is rated IP20 on the front and at the terminals — suitable for enclosed panel environments where personnel protection from accidental contact is needed.
Termination and Coordination
Main and auxiliary circuits use spring-loaded terminals accepting 2x (0.25... 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded conductors (2x 24... 14 AWG). No screw torque to verify — the spring cage holds the conductor once inserted, which speeds panel wiring and eliminates re-torquing during commissioning. This gives the panel builder a clear selectivity boundary when designing the branch circuit.
The RC surge suppressor is integrated, so no external module is needed for coil suppression on standard AC control circuits.
At 45 mm wide and 60 mm high, with a depth of 114 mm, the S00 frame fits standard 35 mm DIN-rail enclosures.
