Panel-fit and termination
It occupies 45 mm width on the rail, with 73 mm depth and 60 mm height — a compact footprint for high-density control panels. Main circuit connections use spring-loaded terminals accepting 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire, or 2x (24 to 14 AWG). The auxiliary contact block also terminates with spring-cage technology. Front and terminal protection is rated IP20 — suitable for enclosed panel use where tools are required for access.
Motor duty and switching capability
Rated for AC-3 motor starting duty at 4 kW on 400 V, 4.5 kW at 500 V, and 5.5 kW at 690 V. The AC-3 rating governs the real-world motor switching capability — this contactor handles induction motor starts within those power bands without excessive contact wear. For inching or plugging duty (AC-4), the contactor is rated at 8.5 A at 400 V. Resistive load switching (AC-12) is rated up to 10 A maximum. The coil is 24 VDC with a closing and holding power of 1.4 W — a low-hold design that minimizes heat in the panel. Type 1 coordination allows up to 35 A gL/gG.
Auxiliary contact and environmental limits
One instantaneous auxiliary contact is built in, rated for switching at various voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V. These ratings cover both control circuit isolation and signal feedback.
