It's a 24 V 50/60 Hz AC coil contactor rated for 5.5 kW at 400 V in AC-3 duty (motor starting), and also carries a 5.5 kW rating at 690 V AC-3. For heavy-duty jogging or inching (AC-4), it's rated at 8.5 A at 400 V. The S00 frame is the smallest in the SIRIUS contactor family, measuring 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, and 72 mm deep. That compact footprint fits tightly packed DIN-rail enclosures where every millimeter of rail space counts.
Side-by-side mounting is permitted with 6 mm spacing to the side, which helps when populating a multi-contactor row without wasting panel width. Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or up to 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²) solid or stranded conductors. AWG equivalents are 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), or 1x 12. The front of the terminal has IP20 finger protection, so it's safe for open-panel work as long as the front cover is on.
Coil and operating conditions
The coil is rated for 24 V at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, with an operating range of 0.8 to 1.1 times rated voltage at 50 Hz and 0.85 to 1.1 at 60 Hz.
