It uses screw-type terminals for the main circuit and mounts via screw or snap-on onto a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022 — standard panel integration for a contactor this compact at 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, and 72 mm deep.
The AC-3 motor-switching rating is 5.5 kW at both 500 V and 690 V — that's the figure that governs whether this contactor handles your induction motor load. For AC-4 duty (plugging, inching, reversing), it's rated 8.5 A at 400 V, so it can manage the higher electrical wear of frequent jogging. For resistive loads (AC-12), the maximum operating current is 10 A. The coil draws 24 V at 60 Hz, with an operating range of 0.8 to 1.1 times rated voltage — so it holds in down to about 19.2 V and picks up reliably across that band.
The screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). AWG equivalents are 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), or 1x 12. Type 1 coordination allows a 35 A fuse.
