It carries an AC-4 rating of 8.5 A at 400 V for reversing or inching duty, and 5.5 kW at 400 V under AC-2 and AC-3 duty classes. The 24 VDC coil pulls in at nominal voltage and holds reliably across the -25 to +60 °C operating range. Side-by-side mounting is permitted with 6 mm spacing to adjacent devices, keeping panel density high. The front face carries IP20 finger protection; terminals are also rated IP20.
AC and DC switching capability
For DC loads, the contactor is rated 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V — useful for switching DC solenoids, brakes, or control transformers in the same panel. The AC-12 maximum operating current is 10 A, covering resistive heating and lighting circuits. AC-4 at 400 V is 8.5 A, which governs motor reversing or plugging duty where the contacts make and break under locked-rotor current. Type 1 coordination requires a 35 A gL/gG fuse; Type 2 coordination requires 20 A gL/gG. The main circuit uses screw-type terminals accepting 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²) — AWG equivalents 2x (20-16), 2x (18-14), and 1x 12. This gives the panel builder flexibility with common wire gauges.
Panel integration dimensions
The S00 frame measures 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm high, and 72 mm deep — a compact footprint that fits standard 35 mm DIN rail enclosures. The 72 mm depth leaves clearance for wiring ducts and terminal blocks on the same rail. Operating altitude is rated to 2 000 m without derating.
