It switches motor loads up to 5.5 kW at 400 V AC-2 duty or 8.5 A at 400 V AC-4 duty, so it handles both standard motor starting and reversing/jogging applications. The 30 million mechanical cycles mean it outlasts many smaller contactors in high-cycle conveyor or pump panels. The 45 mm width and 57.5 mm height fit standard S00 panel layouts; side-by-side mounting is allowed with 6 mm clearance at the side for heat dissipation.
The AC-2 rating at 400 V (5.5 kW) covers slip-ring motor starting; the AC-4 rating (8.5 A) covers plugging and inching duty where the contactor makes and breaks under load. For resistive loads (AC-12), it handles 10 A maximum. The coil operating range is 0.8 to 1.1 times rated voltage at 50 Hz and 0.85 to 1.1 at 60 Hz — so a 24 VDC coil holds in from about 19.2 V to 26.4 V DC, with a dropout below roughly 18 V.
Accepts solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). AWG equivalents: 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), 1x 12. The single instantaneous contact (NO) is rated for 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 6 A at 230 V.
