Maximum operating current in AC-12 (control-circuit resistive loads) is 10 A, so it can switch a bank of contactor coils or solenoids within that limit. Short-circuit coordination is specified: Type 2 coordination requires a 20 A gL/gG fuse; Type 1 allows a 35 A gL/gG fuse. This matters when the contactor sits downstream of a branch circuit protector — the fuse size determines whether the contactor survives a fault or needs replacement.

Side-by-side mounting is permitted with 6 mm spacing to adjacent devices, so multiple contactors pack tightly on a DIN rail without derating.
