It's rated for AC-4 duty at 8.5 A on a 400 V line — that's the motor reversing / plugging / inching current, not the steady-running AC-3 number.
The 45 mm width (three 17.5 mm module spaces) and 85 mm height fit standard S0 contactor panels. Side-by-side mounting is permitted — no derating gap needed between units, though the 6 mm side clearance to enclosure walls or other apparatus should be observed.
The AC-4 rating at 8.5 A (400 V) governs the contactor's life under high-stress switching — motor reversing, jogging, or plugging where the contacts make and break locked-rotor current. For AC-2 duty (slip-ring motor starting) at 400 V, it handles 4 kW. The AC-12 rating (control-circuit resistive load) tops out at 10 A. Motor power ratings climb with voltage: 4.5 kW at 500 V and 5.5 kW at 690 V. Auxiliary contacts are rated for 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V DC — enough for direct PLC input or relay coil switching.
