Main circuit terminals are screw-type; auxiliary and control circuit terminals are spring-loaded, which saves time on wiring if you're terminating stranded conductors with ferrules.
For motor duty, the contactor is rated 4 kW at AC-2, 400 V, and 8.5 A at AC-4, 400 V. AC-2 covers slip-ring motor starting; The 4.5 kW at 500 V and 5.5 kW at 690 V ratings give headroom for higher-voltage motor circuits common in 690 V industrial networks.
