Rated for 4 kW at AC-2 duty on 400 V and 5.5 kW at 690 V, this contactor handles the inductive load of motors — pumps, conveyors, fans — where the AC-2 rating covers starting and running. The 110 V DC coil draws 5.4 W on closing and holding — same figure for both, which means no extra power is needed to keep it sealed. That simplifies the DC supply sizing in the panel.
Main circuit terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 2x (0.25…2.5 mm²), 2x (1…2.5 mm²), 2x (2.5…6 mm²), or up to 2x 10 mm². AWG equivalents are 2x (16…12), 2x (14…10), and 1x 8. Auxiliary terminals take 2x (24…14) AWG. For type 2 coordination (no weld after fault), use a gL/gG fuse rated 25 A. For type 1 coordination (welding allowed), the fuse can be 63 A. This lets the panel designer choose the protection philosophy.
Compliance documentation includes RoHS and REACH substance prohibitance dated July 1, 2006.
