It is designed for switching motor loads and resistive loads in industrial control panels, with a 24 V 50 Hz coil that pulls in reliably across the standard 0.8–1.1 × Us range. At 400 V, the contactor is rated 5.5 kW in AC-2 duty (slip-ring motors) and 12.5 A in AC-4 duty (reversing / inching / plugging). Those are the ratings that govern real motor-switching life — AC-4 especially, because every reversal cycle wears the contacts faster than a simple start/stop.
Mounting and wiring — panel fit
Side-by-side mounting is permitted with no derating gap. Main circuit terminals accept screw-type connections: 2×(0.5–1.5 mm²), 2×(0.75–2.5 mm²), or max 2×(0.75–4 mm²) solid/stranded. Auxiliary and control circuit terminals take 2×(1–2.5 mm²) or 2×(2.5–6 mm²), max 2×10 mm². AWG equivalents are 2×(16–12), 2×(14–10), or 1×8 for the mains, and 2×(20–16), 2×(18–14), or 1×12 for the auxiliaries.
For Type 1 coordination (welding allowed but no fire hazard), the fuse can be gL/gG 63 A. The contactor carries IP20 protection on the front (touch-safe for panel installation) and IP00 at the terminals (requires enclosure protection downstream).
