Rated at 7.5 kW at both 500 V and 690 V, this contactor handles AC-2 duty at 400 V up to 5.5 kW and AC-4 at 400 V up to 12.5 A — the AC-4 figure governs reversing or inching applications where the contactor breaks the motor current directly. The front of the contactor carries an IP20 rating, while the terminals themselves are IP00 — standard for panel-mount contactors where the enclosure provides the overall protection.
Solid conductors accepted: 2x (0.5... 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75... 2.5 mm²), max. 2x (0.75... 4 mm²). Stranded: 2x (1... 2.5 mm²), 2x (2.5... 6 mm²), max. 2x 10 mm². AWG equivalents for main contacts: 2x (16... 12), 2x (14... 10), 1x 8. Side-by-side mounting is permitted — no derating gap required.
