The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1024-1AP04-ZW96 is a size S0 power contactor with three normally open main contacts, designed for switching motor loads in industrial control panels. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022 via screw and snap-on, and uses screw-type terminals for the main circuit. Rated at 7.5 kW at both 500 V and 690 V, this contactor handles AC-2 duty at 400 V up to 5.5 kW and AC-4 at 400 V up to 12.5 A — the AC-4 figure governs reversing or inching applications where the contactor breaks the motor current directly. Coordination and auxiliary ratings
For type 1 coordination (no damage to the contactor, but may need contact replacement), the maximum fuse is gL/gG 63 A. For type 2 coordination (no damage at all), the fuse is gL/gG 25 A. Auxiliary contact ratings at various control voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 2 A at 60 V. The coil operates at 50 Hz with a voltage tolerance of 0.8 to 1.1 times the rated value.
