It delivers 7.5 kW at 400 V in AC-3 duty and carries an AC-4 rating of 12.5 A at the same voltage, covering reversing and inching applications where contact wear is the limiting factor.
The AC-3 motor rating of 7.5 kW at 400 V and 690 V means this contactor handles a standard 10 HP induction motor on a 400 V line, or the same power on a 690 V delta-connected motor — the voltage class doesn't change the kW, which is unusual and tells you the contactor is sized for the current, not the voltage, in AC-3. Auxiliary contact ratings span from 10 A at 24 V up to 0.3 A at 220 V, covering PLC-level signal switching on the same device.
Side-by-side mounting is permitted — the 6 mm spacing to adjacent devices on the side is the minimum for heat dissipation, not an electrical clearance requirement. The main circuit terminals accept 2x (0.5…1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75…2.5 mm²), and up to 2x 10 mm² solid or stranded, with AWG equivalents from 16 to 8. That covers most panel wiring from control-circuit 1.5 mm² up to motor-circuit 10 mm² in one terminal clamp. Front face is IP20; the terminal area is IP00 — standard for a panel-mounted contactor where the enclosure provides the overall IP rating.
