SIRIUS S0 power contactor — 3RT1024-1XF00-0GA0
The Siemens 3RT1024-1XF00-0GA0 is a SIRIUS S0 power contactor rated for motor switching at 7.5 kW at 500 V and 690 V AC-3, and 5.5 kW at 400 V AC-2. The S0 frame size (45 mm width, 116 mm height, 101 mm depth) fits standard 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, with screw and snap-on mounting and side-by-side mounting permitted. The main circuit uses screw-type terminals accepting 2x (1–2.5 mm²), 2x (2.5–6 mm²), or max. 2x 10 mm² stranded, with AWG equivalents 2x (16–12), 2x (14–10), 1x 8. The integrated varistor surge suppressor is built in — no external module needed for coil suppression.
Motor duty and coordination
At AC-4 duty (frequent reversing or inching) the contactor is rated 12.5 A at 400 V. For type 1 coordination, a gL/gG 63 A fuse is required; for type 2 coordination, a gL/gG 25 A fuse. The auxiliary contact block supports 10 A at AC-12, with switching capacities of 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V.
Integration and environment
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022; side-by-side mounting is allowed with 6 mm spacing to adjacent devices. The front face is IP20, the terminal area is IP00. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, with a maximum operating altitude of 2,000 m. Pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution or dry non-conductive that becomes conductive).
