The 24 VDC coil pulls in reliably; the screw-type main terminals accept 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) solid/stranded or up to 2x 10 mm², so it wires cleanly into existing panel layouts without crimping ferrules for the power circuit.
Motor duty and coordination
Rated for AC-2 duty at 400 V at 5.5 kW and AC-4 at 400 V at 12.5 A — the AC-4 figure governs reversing or inching applications where the contactor makes and breaks stalled-rotor current. For Type 2 coordination (no weld under fault) the upstream fuse must be gL/gG 25 A; Type 1 allows 63 A. That fuse spec matters when sizing the branch circuit in a motor control center.
IP20 on the front, IP00 at the terminals — so it belongs inside an enclosure, not exposed.
The built-in auxiliary contacts handle 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V — enough to drive a PLC input or a small pilot light directly. At 24 VDC inductive loads the rating drops to 2 A; at 220 VDC it is 0.3 A. For DC switching, derate accordingly or use a DC-rated interposing relay for higher currents.
