The contactor is rated for AC-3 duty at 7.5 kW on both 500 V and 690 V supplies, at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz. For the commissioning engineer, the AC-4 rating of 12.5 A at 400 V defines the inching or plugging capability — the current it can break during high-stress reversing or jogging cycles, not just steady-state running.
The 45 mm width and 85 mm height fit standard S0 panel layouts. Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) stranded, with a maximum of 2x 10 mm² or 1x 8 AWG. For the wireman, that means no ferrule crimping is required for the smaller conductors, but the larger 10 mm² termination needs careful torque control.
Environmental and operating limits
For the field service tech, the coil operates on a 0.8 to 1.1 times the rated voltage at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, ensuring pickup across typical line fluctuations.
