Siemens 3RT1025-1AB00-ZX95 — SIRIUS Power Contactor, S0 Frame, 24 VAC Coil
It carries three normally-open main contacts (3 NO) and a 24 V 50 Hz coil, with screw-type terminals on both the main and auxiliary circuits.
The AC-3 motor-switching capability is the headline: 10 kW at 500 V and 11 kW at 690 V. That means it can start and stop a standard three-phase induction motor up to those power ratings under full load — the contactor's arc chutes and contact material are sized for the inrush and break current of motor starting. For resistive loads (AC-1), the maximum operating current is 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V. For auxiliary contact loads (AC-12), the maximum is 10 A. Coil draw at 50 Hz is 0.8 to 1.1 A — a 24 VAC control transformer must be sized to handle this inrush plus any other coils on the same circuit.
Main circuit terminals accept solid conductors: 2x (0.5...1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75...2.5 mm²), max 2x (0.75...4 mm²). Stranded conductors: 2x (1...2.5 mm²), 2x (2.5...6 mm²), max 2x 10 mm². AWG equivalents for main contacts: 2x (16...12), 2x (14...10), 1x 8. The screw-type terminals require a screwdriver for termination — no spring-cage here.
