The 50 Hz coil is designed for a 220 V supply at the rated frequency. Front face carries IP20 protection; the terminals themselves are IP00, so panel wiring must respect that — no live parts exposed after termination.
The AC-2 rating at 400 V is 7.5 kW, while AC-4 at the same voltage is 15.5 A — AC-4 covers reversing or plugging duty where the contactor makes and breaks under full motor current, so that figure governs the toughest switching cycles. For resistive loads (AC-12), the maximum operating current is 10 A. The mechanical life is a typical 10,000,000 operations, so it holds up in high-cycle applications like conveyor diverters or pump sequencing. Wire sizing is generous: main terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.5 mm² up to 4 mm² (2x per clamp), or AWG 16 to 8. For type 2 coordination (no-weld condition), the required fuse is gL/gG 25 A; for type 1 coordination, 63 A.
