Siemens SIRIUS power contactor 3RT1025-1AV00-0TA0-ZX95 is a size S0, 3-pole normally-open unit rated 400 V at 50 Hz. It switches motor loads up to 7.5 kW in AC-2 duty at 400 V or 11 kW in AC-3 at 690 V. The 3 NO main contacts handle the power circuit; there are no NC main contacts on this variant. Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022. Front face carries IP20 protection; the terminal area is IP00, so maintain the 6 mm side clearance for safe wiring access. Side-by-side mounting is permitted for dense panel layouts.
Wiring and terminal specs
Main current circuit uses screw-type terminals. Solid wire: 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), max 2x (0.75–4 mm²). Stranded: 2x (1–2.5 mm²), 2x (2.5–6 mm²), max 2x 10 mm². AWG equivalents: 2x (16–12), 2x (14–10), 1x 8. Strip and torque per Siemens terminal chart — the listed ranges cover the common panel wire gauges. Pollution degree 3 rating means the contactor is suited for industrial environments with conductive or dry non-conductive pollution. Operating temperature spans -25 to +60 °C, with a maximum installation altitude of 2000 m.
Coordination and protection
For type 1 coordination (no damage to the contactor after a short circuit, but may need replacement), use a gL/gG fuse rated 63 A. For type 2 coordination (contactor remains usable after a fault), step down to a 25 A gL/gG fuse. These values govern the upstream protection sizing. Mechanical life is 10 million operations typical. Rated operational current in AC-12 (resistive) service is 10 A maximum. The AC-4 rating at 400 V is 15.5 A, covering reversing or inching duty where the contactor makes and breaks motor starting current.
