The S0 frame measures 45 mm wide × 119 mm high × 150 mm deep. Side-by-side mounting is allowed, with 10 mm clearance required upwards, forwards, downwards, and at the side. Front face carries IP20 protection; the terminals themselves are IP00 — keep live parts behind a panel door or cover.
Coil and auxiliary contact ratings
The DC coil draws 0.7 A initial inrush, settling to 1.25 A holding at 24 V rated value. Two instantaneous auxiliary contacts are built in. Switching capacity on the auxiliaries: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V — all DC.
Motor load ratings
For motor applications, the contactor is rated 10 kW at 500 V, 11 kW at 690 V. Horsepower ratings: 3 hp at 230 V, 5 hp at 200/208 V and 220/230 V, 10 hp at 460/480 V, 15 hp at 575/600 V. The main circuit withstands a rated impulse voltage of 6 kV.
Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid, 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) and 2x (2.5 to 6 mm²) stranded, and up to 2x 10 mm² maximum. The auxiliary contact terminals accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid.
