Motor duty and coordination
For standard motor starting (AC-3), the contactor handles 10 kW at 500 V and 11 kW at 690 V. For reversing or inching duty (AC-4 at 400 V), the rated operational current is 15.5 A — a lower figure than the AC-3 rating, so size for the duty cycle you actually run. Coordination type 2 requires a 25 A gL/gG fuse upstream; type 1 allows up to 63 A. If your panel spec calls for type 2 coordination (no damage to the contactor under fault), stick with the 25 A fuse limit.
Wiring and environment
Main circuit terminals accept screw-type connections: 2x (0.25...2.5 mm²) solid or 2x (1...2.5 mm²) stranded, with a maximum of 2x 10 mm² or a single 8 AWG. Side-by-side mounting is permitted without derating, with 6 mm clearance to adjacent devices on the side. Rated for ambient operation from -25 to +60 °C, with a maximum installation altitude of 2 000 m. Pollution degree 3 means it's suitable for industrial environments with conductive dust or humidity.
