Rated for AC-2 duty at 11 kW / 400 V, this contactor handles slip-ring motor starting and reversing. Motor ratings extend to 11 kW at both 500 V and 690 V, giving headroom for 480 V or 600 V class systems without derating the power rating. The 50/60 Hz coil (24 V at both frequencies) holds across 0.8...1.1 x Us at 50 Hz and 0.85...1.1 x Us at 60 Hz, so it stays pulled in during brownout conditions down to about 19 V. Auxiliary contact ratings: 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V. The 10 A rating at 24 V is the maximum continuous current through the auxiliary contacts — useful for PLC inputs or relay coils in the control circuit.
Coordination & Protection
This matters when sizing upstream protection — a 35 A fuse limit means the MCCB or fuse holder must be selected to that maximum for Type 2 compliance. No additional conformal coating or sealed enclosure is required for typical panel conditions. IP00 at the terminals means terminal covers or additional shrouding are needed if the panel has live parts accessible during maintenance.
Termination & Wiring
Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (0.5...1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75...2.5 mm²), max 2x (0.75...4 mm²) solid or stranded. For larger conductors: 2x (1...2.5 mm²), 2x (2.5...6 mm²), max 2x 10 mm². AWG equivalents: 2x (16...12), 2x (14...10), 1x 8. The dual-conductor capability per terminal saves rail space when looping power through multiple contactors. Side-by-side mounting is permitted with 6 mm spacing to adjacent devices, allowing dense packing on the DIN rail without derating.
