SIRIUS S0 power contactor — 45 mm footprint, screw terminals
The Siemens 3RT1026-1AL20-ZX95 is a SIRIUS S0 power contactor rated for motor switching in AC-2 and AC-4 duty at 400 V, delivering 11 kW in AC-2 and 15.5 A in AC-4. The 45 mm wide body and 91 mm depth fit standard 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022, with side-by-side mounting permitted. Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2x 0.5–1.5 mm² solid or 2x 0.75–4 mm² stranded, with a max of 2x 10 mm² per clamp.
Motor duty and coordination
At 400 V AC-2 the contactor switches 11 kW motor loads; in AC-4 (frequent reversing or inching) it handles 15.5 A. For Type 2 coordination (no weld) the recommended upstream fuse is gL/gG 35 A; Type 1 coordination allows a 100 A gL/gG fuse. The coil draws 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V — verify the control transformer sizing against these inrush figures.
Mounting and environment
Snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022, or screw-mount through the base. Side-by-side clearance is 6 mm; front protection is IP20, terminal area is IP00. Operating temperature range -25 to +60 °C, with altitude derating above 2000 m. Pollution degree 3 suits industrial environments with conductive dust or light moisture.
