What this contactor delivers in the panel
The Siemens 3RT1026-1AN00 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S0, built for switching three-phase motor loads up to 11 kW at 500 V or 690 V. Its three normally-open main contacts handle AC-4 duty at 15.5 A at 400 V — the rating that governs reversing or inching applications where the contactor makes and breaks the load under full current. For AC-2 duty (slip-ring motors) it carries the same 11 kW at 400 V. Mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, occupying 45 mm of panel width. The S0 frame keeps the footprint compact for a 11 kW class contactor.
Termination and wiring
Main current circuit uses screw-type terminals. Accepts solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5…1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75…2.5 mm²), max 2x (0.75…4 mm²) for the control circuit; for the main circuit, 2x (1…2.5 mm²), 2x (2.5…6 mm²), max 2x 10 mm², or AWG equivalents 2x (16…12), 2x (14…10), 1x 8. Side-by-side mounting is permitted with 6 mm clearance to adjacent devices; front face carries IP20 protection, the terminal area is IP00. Rated for pollution degree 3, so suitable for industrial control panels without additional enclosure sealing.
