SIRIUS 3RT1026-1AN10 — S0 power contactor, 11 kW AC-2, screw terminals
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1026-1AN10 is a size S0 power contactor with three normally open main contacts, rated for 11 kW at 400 V in AC-2 duty (slip-ring motor starting) and 15.5 A in AC-4 reversing/inching duty. Screw-type terminals on both main and auxiliary circuits, with a front IP20 rating and IP00 at the terminals. Fastens via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022.
Ratings and what they mean for your panel
The AC-2 rating at 400 V (11 kW) covers slip-ring motor duty where the contactor makes and breaks at reduced current — typical for crane or hoist applications. The AC-4 rating (15.5 A at 400 V) governs plugging and inching cycles; if your application requires frequent reversing, this is the limiting figure. For AC-1 resistive loads the contactor can carry 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V. The 60 Hz coil (0.8–1.1 A at 220 V) is fixed — no 50/60 Hz dual-frequency coil here, so verify supply frequency. Type 1 coordination requires a 100 A gL/gG fuse; Type 2 coordination needs 35 A gL/gG. That means the contactor can clear a fault up to 100 A without damage to the enclosure (Type 1) or with limited damage (Type 2). Operating temperature range -25 to +60 °C, pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution typical in industrial panels).
Mounting and wiring
Width 45 mm, height 85 mm, depth 91 mm — fits a standard S0 footprint on 35 mm DIN rail. Side-by-side mounting allowed (no derating gap required). Main circuit terminals accept 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75–4 mm²) solid/stranded; auxiliary terminals accept 2x (1–2.5 mm²) or 2x (2.5–6 mm²), max 2x 10 mm². AWG equivalents: main 2x (16–12), 2x (14–10), 1x 8; auxiliary 2x (20–16), 2x (18–14), 1x 12.
