It carries a 48 V DC coil and is rated for 11 kW at 400 V in both AC-2 and AC-3 duty classes, meaning it handles slip-ring motors (AC-2) and standard squirrel-cage motors (AC-3) up to that power. For AC-4 duty — plugging and inching — the rated operational current is 15.5 A at 400 V.
Front protection is IP20, terminal area is IP00 — so the panel enclosure provides the environmental seal.
Coil and auxiliary circuit
Rated control supply voltage is 48 V DC. The contactor includes an instantaneous auxiliary contact (N/O). For the main circuit, screw-type terminals accept 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) stranded or 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid, with a maximum of 2x 10 mm².
Short-circuit coordination
For Type 2 coordination (contactor remains operational after a fault), the fuse is gL/gG 35 A. This is the spec the panel designer needs for the SCCR declaration.
