Part identity and sourcing posture
The 45 mm width (S0 frame) means it fits alongside other S0 devices without odd spacing.
For heavy jogging or plugging duty (AC-4), it is rated 15.5 A at 400 V, which is the current the contacts can interrupt under those severe conditions. The AC-12 rating of 10 A covers resistive and transformer loads on the main contacts. For DC switching, the ratings drop off sharply: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V — this is typical for a contactor of this size, so do not expect it to handle heavy DC loads without derating.
Short-circuit coordination and wiring
Type 1 coordination allows a 100 A fuse but the contactor may need replacement after the fault. This matters when specifying the branch circuit protection for a motor starter. Main circuit terminals accept screw-type connections: 2x (0.25...2.5 mm²) solid, 2x (1...2.5 mm²) or 2x (2.5...6 mm²) stranded, up to 2x 10 mm² maximum. AWG equivalents are 2x (16...12) and 2x (14...10), with a single 8 AWG maximum. Strip and torque to the values on the nameplate.
The front is IP20 (finger-safe), the terminals are IP00 — so it needs enclosure protection in dusty or wet environments.
