The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1026-3AL24-1AA0 is a size S0 power contactor rated for motor switching at 11 kW in AC-2 duty at 400 V. For general resistive loads (AC-12) it handles 10 A.
Coil and control
The coil is wound for 230 V at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, with an operating range of 0.8 to 1.1 times rated voltage at 50 Hz and 0.85 to 1.1 at 60 Hz. That means at 50 Hz the coil picks reliably down to about 184 V and drops out below that; at 60 Hz the pickup threshold is about 195 V. Two instantaneous auxiliary contacts (1 NO + 1 NC) are built in — enough for a basic interlock or status feedback without an add-on block.
Side-by-side mounting is allowed with zero gap, but the side clearance spec of 6 mm to grounded metal is the minimum for arc flash containment. Front face is IP20 (finger-safe), terminals are IP00 — live parts are exposed once the wire is landed, so cover the panel or use shrouded terminal covers in service areas.
Wiring and protection
Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) solid or 2x (2.5 to 6 mm²) stranded, with a max of 2x 10 mm² per terminal. AWG equivalents: 2x (16 to 12) solid, 2x (14 to 10) stranded, single 8 AWG.
