Panel fit and wiring
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022 — the S0 footprint is 70 mm wide by 88 mm tall, 153 mm deep. That depth includes the coil terminals and the built-in varistor; no extra projection. Main circuit terminals are screw-type accepting 2x (1–2.5 mm²) solid/stranded up to 2x 10 mm² or 1x 8 AWG. Auxiliary and control circuit terminals are spring-loaded (2x 0.25–2.5 mm² solid, 2x 24–14 AWG), so the control wiring is tool-less — good for panel builders who want to speed up the low-voltage terminations.
Coordination and protection
For Type 2 coordination (no damage to the contactor on a short circuit), the required upstream fuse is gL/gG 35 A. Type 1 coordination allows a 100 A gL/gG fuse — the contactor may be damaged but the circuit clears. Pollution degree 3 (industrial environment, conductive pollution), IP20 on the front face, IP00 at the terminals — so it's panel-mount only, not for open-air washdown areas.
