Its 42 V 50 Hz coil pulls in reliably across the 0.8 to 1.1 x Us operating range at 50 Hz. Motor ratings hit 18.5 kW at 500 V and 10 kW at 690 V in AC-3 duty — that's the real-world switching current for a standard squirrel-cage induction motor. The screw-type main terminals accept solid conductors up to 2x (0.5... 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75... 2.5 mm²), and stranded up to 2x (0.75... 25 mm²). At 40 °C the minimum permissible cross-section is 16 mm² for the main circuit.
Front face carries IP20 protection; the terminals themselves are IP00, meaning the wiring zone is open and needs clearance from live conductors. Dimensions are 112 mm high, 55 mm wide, 164 mm deep — fits standard enclosure depths.
Switching frequency and service life
Maximum switching rates vary by duty: 1200 cycles/hour for AC-1 (resistive), 1000 for AC-3 (motor run), 750 for AC-2 (slip-ring motor), and 250 for AC-4 (plugging/reversing). Mechanical service life is typically 10 million operations. Arcing time is 7 to 20 ms at AC, with a typical range of 10 to 15 ms. Auxiliary contacts are rated at 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V — enough for PLC or relay feedback loops.
