Integration & Mounting
The 3RT1034-1AG60: Snap-on mounting onto 35 mm standard DIN rail per EN 50022, with screw terminals for the main circuit. The S2 frame size (55 mm wide, 112 mm height, 115 mm depth) fits standard panel layouts; side-by-side mounting is permitted without derating for thermal stacking within the rated operating range of -25 to +60 °C.
Motor Duty & Ratings
Rated for AC-3 motor switching at 18.5 kW at 500 V (50/60 Hz), with a maximum electrical endurance of 1 000 operations per hour under AC-3 duty. For heavier AC-4 inching or plugging, the rate drops to 250 operations per hour — plan the application cycle accordingly. Coil draw at 24 V rated value is 10 A, and the contactor handles a pollution degree of 3 (conductive pollution typical in industrial enclosures). The IP20 front protection means the terminals are finger-safe once installed; the terminal area itself is IP00 — ensure the panel door or cover provides the final enclosure.
Termination & Wiring
Screw-type terminals accept solid conductors up to 2x (0.5... 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75... 2.5 mm²), and stranded up to 2x (0.75... 25 mm²). The wide clamping range covers standard control and power wiring without needing adapter lugs.
