Screw-type main terminals, 24 VDC coil that pulls 10 A at rated voltage. IP20 on the front face keeps fingers out; terminals are IP00 so panel builders wire with the gland plate in mind.
AC-2 rating at 400 V / 15 kW is the one that decides the motor match — wound-rotor or slip-ring motors draw higher inrush and break under load, so you need a contactor rated for that duty, not just AC-3. The 24 VDC coil holds at nominal, drops out below about 18 V (standard for this class). Side-by-side mounting permitted without derating — the S2 frame sheds heat well enough for that density. Wire capacity: solid accepts 2x 0.5…1.5 mm² and 2x 0.75…2.5 mm², max 2x 0.75…4 mm². That covers standard motor leads and control wiring without needing ring lugs on the main circuit.
Integration — panel fit and wiring
55 mm wide, 112 mm tall, 115 mm deep — the S2 footprint fits alongside other SIRIUS gear on the same DIN rail. Screw terminals on the main circuit; auxiliary blocks can be added to the front.
