SIRIUS S2 power contactor — 3RT1034-1AL00
Rated for motor loads at 18.5 kW at 500 V and 10 kW at 690 V in AC-3 duty, with an AC-4 current rating of 29 A at 400 V — the figure that governs reversing or plugging applications where the contactor breaks full-load current. The contactor envelope is 112 mm high by 55 mm wide by 115 mm deep, fitting standard panel layouts.
Duty-cycle and switching performance
Maximum switching rates vary by duty: 1,200 cycles/hour for AC-1 resistive loads, 1,000 cycles/hour for AC-3 motor starting, 750 cycles/hour for AC-2 slip-ring motors, and 250 cycles/hour for AC-4 reversing/inching. Coil operating range is 0.8–1.1 × rated voltage at 50 Hz, covering typical supply dips. Rated control supply voltages are 50 Hz and 60 Hz.
