The 3RT1034-1AN20-1AA0: Mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm standard DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, so it drops into any standard panel without adapter plates. The Size S2 frame is 55 mm wide and 112 mm tall, with a depth of 115 mm — that's a compact footprint for a contactor that can pull 25 mm² stranded wire on the main circuit. Side-by-side mounting is permitted without derating, which matters when you're packing a row of contactors in a tight enclosure.
Wire Termination and Protection
Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (0.75... 25 mm²) stranded or 2x (0.5... 4 mm²) solid. That range covers everything from small control wiring up to the heavy feeder for a 25 kW motor. The front is IP20 rated, which is standard for enclosed panels — no special handling needed. Pollution degree 3 means it's suited for industrial environments where conductive dust or occasional condensation is present, not just clean control rooms.
