Rated for 18.5 kW at 500 V and 10 kW at 690 V, this contactor handles the motor starting and running currents typical of pumps, fans, and conveyors in the 10–20 kW range on 400 V three-phase systems. The 24 VDC coil keeps control voltage low for PLC or safety-relay output cards. The front is IP20 (finger-safe), while the terminal area is IP00 — expect to cover the terminals in a panel with the standard finger-duct or terminal shroud.
At AC-4 (plugging / inching duty), it is rated 29 A at 400 V, so if your application requires frequent reversing or jogging, stay within that current envelope. AC-1 (resistive load) maximum operating frequency is 1200 cycles per hour; AC-3 drops to 1000 1/h; AC-4 is 250 1/h. These limits govern heater, lighting, or frequent-switching applications — exceed them and the contactor will overheat internally. DC switching capability is also specified: 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V. This matters if you are switching DC solenoids, brake coils, or small DC motor fields — the arc extinction is different from AC, and these numbers are the safe limits.
Dimensions: 55 mm wide, 112 mm tall, 179 mm deep. Side-by-side mounting is allowed — no derating required for adjacent contactors, but check the thermal dissipation in a sealed enclosure. Main circuit terminals accept solid wire: 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), max 2x (0.75–4 mm²). Stranded wire: 2x (0.75–25 mm²). Minimum conductor size at 40 °C is 16 mm² — so for high-current runs, plan on at least that gauge.
