SIRIUS S2 power contactor — 15 kW AC-2, 29 A AC-4
The Siemens 3RT1034-3AB00-ZX95 is a SIRIUS-brand power contactor in the S2 frame size, rated for 15 kW at 400 V in AC-2 duty (slip-ring motor starting) and 29 A at 400 V in AC-4 duty (plugging / inching).
Motor duty and switching capacity
AC-4 at 400 V: 29 A — this is the rating for plugging, inching, or reversing duty where the contactor breaks full motor current. For direct-on-line motor starting (AC-3), the contactor achieves 1 000 operating cycles per hour; for the harsher AC-4 duty, the maximum is 250 cycles per hour. At 500 V the contactor is rated for 18.5 kW; at 690 V for 10 kW — these higher-voltage ratings matter for 500 V or 690 V line supplies common in mining, marine, or heavy industrial installations.

At 40 °C the minimum permissible conductor size is 16 mm² for the main circuit — this is a thermal derating consideration for continuous high-current applications.
