SIRIUS S2 Power Contactor, 24 VDC Coil
The Siemens 3RT1034-3EL24 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S2, designed for switching motor loads in industrial control panels. It is rated for 18.5 kW at 500 V and 10 kW at 690 V, with a 24 VDC coil. The contactor uses screw-type terminals for the main current circuit and is rated IP20 on the front, IP00 at the terminals.
Mounting and Integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022. Side-by-side mounting is permitted, which simplifies multi-contactor panel layouts. Dimensions are 55 mm wide, 129 mm high, and 164 mm deep.

Switching Performance and Duty Cycles
Maximum switching frequency varies by duty: 1,200 operations/hour at AC-1 (resistive), 750 at AC-2 (slip-ring motor), 1,000 at AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor), and 250 at AC-4 (plugging/inching). Arcing time is 10 to 15 ms. DC dropout delay is 20 to 30 ms. Operating range factor is 0.8 to 1.1 at 50 Hz and 0.85 to 1.1 at 60 Hz.
Auxiliary Contact Ratings
Auxiliary contacts are rated: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V. These are the continuous current ratings for the auxiliary circuit.
