Its AC-3 rating of 22 kW at 500 V and 11.4 kW at 690 V tells you it handles standard three-phase induction motors at those voltages — the 22 kW figure at 500 V is the one that governs most motor-starting applications, not the higher-voltage number.
The 55 mm width and 112 mm height fit a standard panel layout; depth is 115 mm including terminals. Side-by-side mounting is allowed — no gap required between contactors on the rail, which saves panel space when ganging multiple motor starters.
Wiring and terminations
Solid wire accepts up to 2x 4 mm²; stranded accepts up to 2x 25 mm². For a typical 4 mm² motor feed, you can double up the conductors per terminal if needed.
RoHS compliance date is May 1, 2012, so it meets the EU substance restrictions for new installations.
