The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1035-1AP00 is a size S2 power contactor rated for 35 A in AC-4 duty at 400 V — that's the heavy lifting for reversing, plugging, or inching motor loads where the contactor makes and breaks stalled-rotor current. At 500 V it handles 22 kW motor loads, and at 690 V it's rated 11.4 kW. The AC-2 rating of 18.5 kW at 400 V covers slip-ring motor starting. The screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept stranded conductors up to 2x 25 mm², and the auxiliary circuit accepts solid wire from 0.5 to 4 mm². Auxiliary contact ratings: 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V.
RoHS compliance date is May 1, 2012, covering substance prohibitions under EU directives. The part carries IP20 on the front (finger-safe) and IP00 at the terminals (no protection — terminal enclosure is the panel's responsibility).
Integration notes
Dimensions: 112 mm height, 55 mm width, 115 mm depth. The S2 frame size is one step above the S0 (3RT1026) — the 3RT1035 is physically larger and carries higher AC-4 current. If you're swapping in a panel originally wired for a 3RT1026-1AB00, check the mounting footprint and wire bending space: the S2 is 10 mm wider than the S0. Coil data: at 50 Hz the operating range is 0.8 to 1.1 times rated voltage. Maximum operating frequency: 1,200 operations/hour at AC-1, 1,000 at AC-3, 600 at AC-2, 300 at AC-4.
